The Story Behind Mister Chain Lube
U.S. Patent No. 6,679,352 B2
Mister Chain Lube was developed and is currently manufactured by a fellow riding enthusiast!
I developed Mister Chain Lube a few years ago for my personal use. In Maine, off road riding dishes out harsh conditions for a chain and sprockets.
The idea came after a 150 mile off road trip. I was never a fan of spray chain lube. Mud and water left my chain bone dry. Having no place to carry chain lube, we would purchase a quart of oil when refueling. The oil would be dumped on the chain to lube it. This was bad for the environment, a mess and a waste of oil and money.
The original prototype was manufactured in my machine shop. Mister Chain Lube became a permanent part of my riding gear and has been tested over 2800 miles on my 2000 Honda 650R.
After several other riders asked me where they could buy one of my chain lube systems, I decided to investigate the possibility of producing and distributing Mister Chain Lube.
There are a couple of other "chain oiling systems" out there on the market. However, these systems may require complicated hookup, maintenance and have potential for operating problems. Mister Chain Lube is easy to install, easy to use and easy to maintain.
Our product is made from quality material right here in the USA and our aluminum reservoir is virtually indestructible.
